Video Creation: What’s your goal?

I am sure you have noticed video creation takes practice and some skills, for sure! Maybe you are looking to introduce content to your students for the first time, or maybe you are looking to create some resources that offer review opportunities, or maybe you are just looking to create a video on how to use the technology. All of these types of approaches require a slightly different approach and possibly a different type of tool. As I begin the year as a remote reading instructor, I know I will need quick, engaging videos that explain and review concepts to help students practice independently. If you are interested, here is my attempt at a series of videos about the different syllable types.

As you develop your own videos to support your curriculum, you will need to pay attention to the goal of your production. The goal might impact the tool you use. Refer to the carousel below to see some of my favorite tools as well as their functionality and recommendations for use.
